Puppy is an English Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for an active family seeking a fun dog that likes to play fetch, swim, and go for walks and car rides. He walks great on leash and is extremely driven to play ball. He needs to be an only pet (no cats, no dogs) and a yard or open area to run and play. Doula is currently being fostered by the Founder of Dogs Are Deserving Rescue.  Doula is the perfect houseguest as she is completely housebroken, doesn't need to be crated, is affectionate, and loves car rides!  She knows basic commands, loves human affection, especially belly rubs and loves to play with her toys!  She walks nicely on a leash, and takes her treats gently.   Doula does need to be an "only dog".  She's waiting to meet you!

Raphael, a sweet dog who has made remarkable progress with his trainer, is now ready to find his forever home. He loves all treats and loves to play fetch. When he first arrived, he had been through so much and struggled to trust others, so he couldn’t be around dogs. However, he is now happy to meet people and could even go on pack walks with other dogs. Despite his rough start, Raphael is a good boy.

Callum is a lover boy!  He loves to be by your side and will follow you around the house.  He melts into you while sitting close.  He loves going for walks and is great in the car.  He loves getting his zoomies out and runs laps around the backyard.  He is super athletic and his build is on the small side.  He gets compliments wherever he goes because he has beautiful eyes.  When we picked him up from the shelter he was extremely head-shy and was scared to walk through doorways.  He has come along way.  He is happy once he knows he is safe.  Callum would do best with someone who is home a lot and would prefer to be an only dog.  Has some separation anxiety.  Would do wonderful in an agility class.  He can jump (bounce) high.  He has a high prey drive.

Very bubbly, sweet and playful. He's definitely young and sometimes acts like a puppy. He's so friendly he wants to say hello to everyone, all dogs and people. We're still training him to not jump on people but he gets very excited when people walk in the door.  He'd do great in a house with or with out kids, and loves playing with other dogs. He's still a tad mouthy but we are working on it. He's a good walker, he just gets distracted easily. He's honestly the ideal dog for apartments, houses, etc. He also loves cuddling on the couch after some play time.

Dexter is the definition of a dingus. His goofy personality is irresistible. Has vibed with every person he’s met. Loves to learn things & train. Belly rubs are his fave. He is dog friendly. No cats, has a pretty intense pray drive with cats & bunnies. Fine with squirrels.

Orangelo is a baby at heart, he’s so sweet and easy going. He is dog friendly and loves to chill on the couch. He is so smiley all the time, it’s so adorable to see it, he plays so well with my small dog, so patient and gentle and not bothered by her rough playing with him. He has the zoomies too and also get tired in walks and need breaks for belly rubs! He loves treats and is trying hard to be better in not pulling in the leash too much, he has improved so much and he’s so sweet, he’s a joy to be around!

Bane is a calm Shar pei who takes a minute to open up, but once he does he’ll give you the random zoomies and paw taps to your leg for attention. Bane likes getting out into the yard and circling the perimeter to make sure there is no unwelcome guests (cats) in his property. Although he can be a drooler, it’s to be expected with those lovely cheeks. Must have fence. Feed separate or supervised.

Radar is just a year old. This happy boy is all soft and gentle. He prefers close hugs over sitting (though don’t worry, he will sit if you ask.)  Out in the yard, he’s a shade lover who likes to stay close to his person. Radar thrives on affection, is super polite with treats,  He’s had great leash tests with other dogs, and he’s just plain friendly with everyone he meets.

This sweet boy is ready to steal your heart (and your spot on the couch). Guitar loves nothing more than cuddling up close he’ll happily be your shadow and your snuggle buddy all day long.

When he’s not curled up next to you, he’s keeping himself busy playing with his basket of toys. He’s a natural entertainer who can make his own fun, but he’ll always check back in for pets and praise.

Guitar walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys exploring the world one sniff at a time. Most of the time, he’s calm, gentle, and perfectly in tune with the energy around him, but when those zoomies hit, get ready! He becomes a happy little bullet racing around with pure joy and excitement.

Kirby is a happy little guy (he’s 46 lbs but looks less). He’s mostly chill, super friendly, easy to handle and loves other dogs, people and kids. He’s awesome with female dogs and can be selective with male dogs. He gets the zoomies every now and again in the yard but is otherwise calm. Super easy to walk on leash with a collar or harness. He is crate trained and almost fully potty trained. He is treat motivated, loves to play with/chew on his stuffed animals and so far knows sit (working on other commands soon).  His ears will require cleaning once or twice a week to keep them healthy. He’s small so could work well in a variety of housing types/living situations. He rides well in a car and is easy at the vet. All around, Kirby is a rock star and cute as a button.

Banderita is a super playful and very happy dog. There is not a mean bone in her body. She gets along well with my other rescue dog Ellie. They are constantly playing so Banderita would probably annoy an older dog that isn’t as into playing. She is about 90% house trained. Walks ok on the leash but she is just over a year old so she is still learning.

Ethel loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch or being close to you at all times. Very sweet and enjoys being with her two little foster sisters. She is kid friendly, house trained, and crate trained.

Sesame is a gem! She loves dogs, kids, and all toys. She’s super sweet and an all around catch! Junior is a playful, goofy boy who loves to make us laugh. He enjoys playing with our cat and dog, chasing balls, chewing bones, wrestling, going for walks, and snuggling. He has a heart FULL of love to give. Junior is a shy guy by nature and can still be easily startled, so he needs patient people who understand he will need time and space to come out of his shell, build trust, and gain confidence. Hey there, everybody my name is Mildred, but I like Millie better. I’m the kind of girl that greets you with a smile, maybe a hug and a bouncy good attitude. No one really knows what I’ve been through, but it was not me living my best life. Fortunately, fate smiled upon me and brought me to a wonderful rescue. Here I’m given the opportunity to truly blossom and become the best version of myself.

I am learning to play with toys, share my space, and get wonderful cuddles with a loving person. I am getting the hang of going for walks, learning some basic obedience, and of course, sharpening my manners. I am a fun girl that enjoys being around people, but I haven’t quite mastered my own strength- so older kids would be better for me.

I’ve always got a big smile on my face and not too much bothers me. I love being outside, sunbathing, smelling the fresh air, and balls are my favorite.  I need to be cat tested but so far, I am a little selective with dogs. I am still learning how to properly greet a new pup, something tells me I would enjoy a playful female.

Meet Duke! A two year old Mastiff mix that is looking for his forever family. In the home he is house broken, crate trained, and loves to be with his humans. As an XL breed dog, he could still use some reinforcement of basic manners. He's very strong on leash and tends to jump and get a little mouthy when he plays or gets excited. A family with large breed experience that is willing to invest some time and energy into basic training would be ideal. Another requirement would be no children under 10. Outside the home, Duke is a tad insecure and can be slightly reactive to new dogs. After a quick introduction, however, he does great (especially with female dogs). He can, however, tend to get too excited and possessive over toys so a family that can maintain boundaries in their home would be required. As for cats... this big boy LOVES them and would have no problem sharing his space with a dog savvy feline.
